Latin American Motorcycle Association (L.A.M.A) was founded in 1977 in Chicago. From its inception L.A.M.A. was intended to be as a Moto-Touring club with truly Democratic ideas.

 

In 1999, L.A.M.A. became an International Association with chapters in Puerto Rico, Mexico, U.S.A., Cuba, Uruguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain & Australia. Today, L.A.M.A is one of the most respected clubs in the world and the number of chapters has grown to more than 160 worldwide.

 

As a L.A.M.A. member, there are doors opened to you in every city where we have chapters including those in other nations at our Annual National and International runs. We recognize our lady riders with their own “DAMAS DE LAMA” patch, which represents that not only are they L.A.M.A. members, but that they ride their own motorcycles. L.A.M.A. members are known for riding  X-treme distances, which most bikers find way too far and others find a challenge of endurance.
